History

1987
Gesellschaft für Mess-, Prüf- und Übermittlungsgeräte mbH
is founded in Heiligenhaus, Germany by Karlheinz Henn.

1988
The company is renamed „METRITEC Gesellschaft für Mess-, Prüf-, Übermittlungsgeräte mbH“.

2000
The company moves to new, purpose-built premises in Husby, Germany

2007
Shortly before his 60th birthday and the company’s 20th anniversary Karlheinz Henn, founder and managing director of METRITEC, passes away. His son, Marcus Henn, becomes interim managing director.

2008
The long-time employee of METRITEC, Mrs. Ruth Andersen, takes over management of the company.
